I know, right?!?! That's a HUGE temp rise. It's funny, because I just realized today as I was going through my past charts, that my temp on O day has always been exactly 96.8, and that's what it was on Sunday. So I should be 1DPO right now, well I guess almost 2DPO since it's almost tomorrow already. So only 7 more days until I start testing!! Whoo-hoo! Oh my gosh, I just realized that I might even be able to test on Valentine's Day! How awesome would that be to get a BFP to share with my DH on that day!??! I'm so excited about this cycle, it's a bit ridiculous.

I love your enthusiasm, Leslie! I don't know why, but I am just not feeling it this cycle. It's crazy because we dtd every day we were supposed to. I can't explain it, but I have a feeling this wasn't it. Maybe that is my subconsciously trying to prepare myself for a let down or something.

I'm thinking of you BOTH everyday and praying nightly. I just wanted to tell you to not lose hope. I know it's hard (not as hard as you do) but we are all here for one another.
xo!

Shel I'm so sorry that this cycle doesn't feel like "the one". I'm hoping and praying that it's just your heart trying to protect you, just incase.

Thanks, girls. I just "knew" the last couple times I got a BFP and don't have that sense this time. It's ok. I asked God not to allow it to happen unless it was going to be a take home baby. BFPs are meaningless if they don't stick. I know that sounds harsh, but at this point I'd rather deal with BFN than a repeat of last year... It would probably be better not to be nauseous in Italy, anyway I'm extremely tired today so I am going to get some sleep soon. I need to make sure my teen gets his AP Bio work done and his speech written. He is competing next week and likes to procrastinate. That cannot happen...unless I fall asleep

I don't think it sounds harsh at all, Shel. I can't even begin to really understand the pain you went through with the MCs, and even thought I've never had one before, I'd still rather see a BFN then go through that loss. ((hugs))

Well, I must have good progesterone levels this cycle because my breasts are tender. Either that or my sports bras are failing me since I've been running all week (which feels GREAT, btw). Low progesterone levels are thought to cause m/c, but I've always thought I was ok there. I had my levels tested with my BFP in Oct and my progesterone was 22 and rose so I am convinced I'm good there. I don't usually get sore breasts before AF so maybe my progesterone is higher?

Shel - can you go and get your Progesterone checked to see where it is? You are going to Italy??? I'm so jealous. We plan to go for our 5-year anniversary, but if I have babies, that will be put on hold:)

I guess I could do that Tiff. I had it done in Jan right after O and it was a 12. I'll call tomorrow. I am going to take a nap before the boys have to go to their public speaking/debate club tonight. Yes, we are taking the kids to Italy on a "field trip". We are studying ancient history and literature this year (we use the classical education model) and will be learning about ancient Rome in March. We will actually be there right in the middle of our 6 week study. We like to take great field trips I actually grew up in Europe so I am excited to take my kids there. My husband has been overseas for business, but never Italy. DH loves art so he is thrilled about Florence (We are flying jawbone, staying in Venice, Florence and ending in Rome with day trips to Pisa and Pompeii). We've been trying to learn a little Italian before we go, too. My 6 yr old really likes learning a new language. The older two study Latin so the Italian is coming pretty easy to them. Sorry for the novel, but I am looking forward to this trip. I've been putting it together since the fall. We are going totally independent so that we can be flexible with our time. Oh, and here is the best part: The hotels, flights, and car rental have only costed us $1400 TOTAL thanks to all my husband's points from traveling!!

Shel, that's amazing that you're going to be able to go, especially with such a small amount of out of pocket costs. I hope you post pictures of your trip, then I can live vicariously through you.

Shel - that is AWESOME! I'm so excited for you and your family. No, please do talk about it. What part of Europe were you raised in? $1400 for all of you?? Holy Moley! Since it's for the kids' school, can you write it off?
My GF lives in Florence, she married an Italian and moved there after High Schoo. She JUST, after 20 years got her Italian Drivers License. She now speaks Italian fluently and I can't wait to get there.

Yes, $1400 for all of us. We still need money for food, gas, and entrance into the sites. Still, all those points saved us over $10K. I am still totally amazed. It is my consolation prize for not having my DH here during the week. We can't write it off. Homeschoolers don't get any fun tax write offs. We still pay for public schools and transportation to them even though we don't use them. I lived in Spain, England, and Germany when I was 4-17. I came back to the States for college when I was 17. My dad was military. We lived off base everywhere except in England. We used to travel quite a lot when I was a kid so I am so thankful my children will get to experience a little of that. We're hoping to get to the UK and France next year as we study medievel history. We'll have to see how the points work out That's awesome about your GF. So, you will have a place to stay with her when you go? Florence is great because it is right between Venice and Rome. You'll want to see Venice before it sinks

POOEY on the no write off. We try and write off alot (legally of course) and a trip to Italy would be a good one. We won't be writing our trip off either, ha ha. I'm just so excited for you. When do you leave??
