I am now in the 2 wk wait. For anyone that had monitored cycles, what did it feel like if you had more than one follicle released? The week before O I had pressure building up and then had AF like cramps the day of O

Kristen, I thought you had to wait. Isn't it unsafe to get pg right away following an ectopic?

Shel- it is if your folic acid level is not normal, but mine is. I am taking mega doses and will continue through the first trimester. Technically we are not trying, but since we are doing pull-out for prevention that chance is there (especially as we had an oops moment).

Shel- I am not into killing myself but I don't think my Dr will be thrilled with me if I do get pregnant, it really screws up the dating. How are you feeling?

Hey girls, I am just so happy to see the two BFP's here!!! Well, hubby is pretty much back to normal, thank god, that was so scary! We have not been actively TTC for the past month, so much going on with moving and then hubby being sick, honestly at the end he was too out of breath and couldn't breathe well even when we DTD, I mean talk about scary! BUT after 3 days in the hospital and tons of meds and inhalers he is better I am ready to start TTC again this month, I am not even sure what cycle day I am on lol. I have to go log my LMP, I started on April 1st the day hubby went into the hospital, so I guess i would be CD 11 which would be about right because i started to have watery CM today... so ready to get this show back on the road and start thinking about TTC again. I am having major baby fever, June will be 1 yr since the VR and I am READY TO BE PREGNANT!!! I hope everyone is doing well!!!!!! I have been reading every day just quite during this rough time these past weeks!

Wow! So much has happened! Leslie - That is so awesome that you have found a little girl to adopt so quickly!! You'll have to tell me all about it! Is it a private adoptio, or did you go through an agency? That was super fast! Shel - Twins??? Seriously ?? Sooooo awesome!!!! Amy - Congrats on being on this side of the VR! I hope you have some good luck right away Jen - I hope hubby is doing better Kirsten - Hope you are A-OK and ready to get back int eh TTC action AFM - We start our classes to be certified to foster/adopt tomorrow. I'm so excited. I've been stock piling baby things already. I can't help myself. I had my surgery last Friday, and they found I had a Septate Uterus, which was the one that is like an IUD, basically blocking my uterine cavity preventing pregnancy. It's seems strange to have it fixed when we had already decided to adopt. At least if we decide again to TTC via donor or if we can ever afford IVF, then we are one step ahead now. We haven't told our family about our decision to adopt. I'm not sure how they will take it, but we'll cross that bridge when the time is closer.

Lifesabeach- We're, hopefully, doing private relative adoption. My SS is pregnant, and is very open to the idea of Josh and I adopting the baby, so we're hoping and praying that things work out with this avenue. It's amazing how quickly one can become so attached and start loving a baby that may not even be theirs. Good luck to you on your classes! I can't wait to hear how your journey goes. Also, just an FYI, for our home study, one of the questionaires we had to fill out was this, approximately, 10 page long one that was chalkfull of questions about how our families felt about the adoption, whether they supported the desision, and questions along that line. I'm not sure if your home study will have those questions too, but if they do it might be a good idea to introduce the topic to them now so you can gauge how to answer those questions. Oh, and I totally wasn't sure how either of our families would react either. I assumed that my mom and dad would be okay with it, but really didn't know how the ILs would take it. They've all exceeded our hopes though and are extremely supportive and excited not just for us, but for themselves as well. So hopefully your family surprises you with their reaction as well.

Where is everyone? We used to have so much chat here and now barely anyone posts I am 4DPO today and woke up horribly nauseas, had to get a Zofran out. I think for some reason my progesterone must be really high this cycle.
