Jen, I started loosing weight back in September-ish. I plateaued when we moved last month though. Well, actually gained a little bit of it back because my low weight was 151.8, so I'm very excited to see a number that is lower than that.

So what are you doing to loose weight, do you work out or just watch what you eat? I was at a high weight of 158 about 2 years ago. In 2009 I lost 38 lbs and got down to 120, I was SO HAPPY there, that's about my goal weight. But gradually it has crept back and I hate it! So out of the 38 I lost I found 26 and it has to stop! You girls are going to motivate me, I know it! I'm going to start logging what I eat again starting today and am going shopping in a bit for some good foods

The only thing I changed was what I eat. I gave up meat, try to eat as little dairy as possible (right noe cheese is the only one I still eat), and I eat loads of raw nuts, seeds, sprouts, fruits, and veggies. I haven't worked out at all, but I will start once we get our elliptical in, and hopefully that'll help the weight come off a little quicker and will also tone up my muscles.

The ONLY way I loose weight is by working out unfortunately

I couldn't find this last night, I was so tired! Our school carnival is this Friday and I was up at the school working until about 8pm. Went back and finished stuff up this morning (8-2!) Oh well it will make for a better week and less craziness!
Okay well... This week: 229 ugh!
Leslie--looks like I picked up your pound!
I need to fix my weight ticker!
Yup, that was a reality check.

Tiff, we just bought a scale about 5 months ago, and that's the first time in our 12+ year marriage that we've owned one. We never did want one, but with me trying to seriously loose weight, I decided that I wanted one to better see the results. Sometimes when I rely just on things like how loose my pants are, I get discouraged really easily. But even loosing 1 single pound is something that is encouraging to me now.

1 lb. is good! Even if it's 1 lb. a week is considered to be a good loss.
My hubby is 6'4" and in pretty good shape, I need to drop about 10 lbs. myself. I'm 5'3". It's hard when he can eat whatever he wants and I can't. We LOVE Ice Cream.
Great thread, I will be getting a scale tomorrow!
