Question.....I dont really drink but the DH does. Not too get drunk just a few beers for dinner, etc... Does anyone know if this will effect his fertility? We are still 2 months away from the VR but I would like to prep our bodies as much as possible...He has two children from a previous marriage and he drank more than he does now when he impregnated ex...but...he is 30 now, not 22...

Studies show that alcohol, smoking and drugs do affect fertility. I'd do research on it, but studies show that a fews beers a week is fine. I'd talk to him and ask him to back off a bit until you get pg:-)
Honestly, I think it depends on the person, but after a VR, we all already have odds stacked against us.

Funny thought....Isn't alcohol how a large % of pregnancies happen? I know it was for my first! But Tiff is right, anything to enhance fetility at this point after the VR

Our VR doctor stressed to us to improve sperm counts (since we are having sperm returning issues) for DH to stay AWAY from all alcohol and cigarettes! He recommends this to all of his patients though. DH does not drink ever but did smoke, he is in the process of trying to quit right now!

Okay, thanks ladies. My wonderful DH told me last week he was going to totally quit drinking (even with dinner) the day we get pg. I am sure he wouldnt mind stopping a little early to help get to that point.
