Thanks Shel! Our clinic doesn't require a lot of notice, they said to just give them a call if that's what we decided to do, and they'd get it all set up. We got our "first time homebuyer's tax credit" in the mail yesterday, so with that we were able to pay off our van and the CC, plus we have some extra left over for a few rounds of IUI. We feel even more confident about it now, so DH will be calling and getting it all set up. I can't believe it, and I'm actually getting excited and hopeful for this cycle now!!

Leslie - Congratulations on paying that debt off. I just paid off my van and have one cc left. Our goal is to be rid of it before baby is born this summer. I hope you won't need IUI, but it's great you have the finances end covered if you decide to use it.
Kirsten - I hope everything turned out good for your brother today.

Leslie- congrats on the debt. DH and I are gonna start trying to pay down now that he has a better job. Misty- it was nothing really, just going in and asking for an extension till my brothers lawyer could be there. We go back next Thursday. I am cramping right now and not sure what is going on. THey are not as bad as menstrual cramps. I think it might be caused by one of the side effects of Zofran, I am trying not to freak cause I also did not have MS today, but they also added promethazine to my Zofran

Kirsten - I had cramping off and on beginning very early (still do). I was told menstrual like cramps are normal as everything is already loosening up and stretching. I associated the cramping to be like my previous m/c, but thinking back I think they were worse. The concern is when they become severe. The Zofran can be causing cramping due to constipation. I had that severely while on that. Take some Colace to help with that and drink Prune juice. As for the nausea, I'm hoping your meds are working and maybe you're going to avoid HG this time. I didn't have it with DD. I just had regular m/s and nothing to even write about really.

Misty- I bought the colace today and yes I am blocked up The Zofran/promethazine combo worked great today, no nausea and ate normal. But a part of me wants that nausea and all so I know everything is ok KWIM?

I totally understand about wanting to know it's okay. The few days I had with no nausea had me worried, but I just prayed daily (still do) and am just now no longer checking tp every time I wipe. It's all very normal, but you know there isn't anything you can do, but pray about it and try to do right for your baby.

Just put 4 new tires on my van! About a month ago we had new tie rods put on the front end because it had a vibration in the front end and steering wheel. 2 weeks later the vibration was worse than before--I was scared to death that there was something very wrong (and $$) with it. I was supposed to take DD to a nearby town for gymnastics and I just felt sick about it, I called my dad and asked him to take her for me. I then made an appointment for the van to checked out at the dealer/service shop where we bought it and usually take it. Still had a nauseous feeling about driving the thing on the highway--like a very uneasy and unsettling feeling. I read that it could be the tires so I decided to take a chance and go to a local tire dealer and at least replace the front two and see if the vibration would go away--if not I would have 2 new tires (of the 4) I need anyway and I still could take it to the shop.
Well the tire guy told me I had 2 separated tires and they were all shot. He also then told me the vibration was because of the tire and the one of the tires was so bad he did not know how I was even driving it and not getting a blow out! He said if I had taken the highway it would have been very likely I could have been in a very serious situation.
So new tires, fixed car--no one hurt or killed=I am so happy and grateful to God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus my Savior keeping me safe once again from my own stupidity. Thank you God

Carrie, praise the Lord for keeping you and our family safe! Could have been a much different story, but thankfully God kept that story from being a reality.

Leslie, I know...God has kept me safe many times, some times not my fault, but shamefully some were my own fault.
My grandma was killed in a car accident right before my first year of college. There is a 4 way stop on the highway a little way from their home. A semi driver ran the stop sign (he fell asleep) at over 75 mph and totally broad sided my grandparents. Usually, my grandma (she was 59) would drive, but for some reason she was in the passenger seat that day. Her neck was broke so death was quite instant. My grandpa survived but was critical for a while. This was the first time in my life I experienced a tragic death of a close family member. It was an experience that changed me forever--I very much could have done without that experience at 18 years old. I know I should be happy that I had 18 years with my grandma--but sometime I think it would have been easier if I was younger. But then I would not have as many vivid memories...makes me sad all around.
I have a fear of car accidents but I think I end up avoiding car issues altogether which is stupid.
This is the 3rd time I have been in potential danger due to bad tires--I have learned my lesson--no more squeaking every bit of life out of them! I promise!

Carrie - Glad to see your family is safe. It puts life into perspective for sure. I had a very bad accident on New Year's that should've killed everyone, but God had other plans. Then, last year I had another experience and can't explain how I missed that one other than God was getting my attention. Boy, did he! Be careful with those tires, they're no joke.

The scary thing is that the US is one of the only countries that doesn't have expiration dates on tires. Tires are much more likely to separate from their treads after 5 years, and so because of this most countries do not allow tires that are over 5 years old to be sold. And I'm not talking about the tires being driven on for 5 years, I'm talking brand new tires that sit unused for 5 years. It's so scary to think about, and my DH and I are SUPER anal about checking the manufactured dates on tires before we'll pay for them. We won't allow anything over a year old to be put on our car, because then we know that we at least have a good 3 years out of them (assuming the tread depth lasts that long) before needing to replace them.

I drive too much to keep tires for that long, lol. Plus I'm known for getting nails, screws, bolts (yes a bolt!) in my tires. My dad was always changing tires for me when I lived at home.

Misty--It is very eye-opening, I am glad you and you family was fine as well. Sometimes I get so busy with the now, I lose sight of the big picture. I hope you did not think I was making a joke, I just meant that I am super cheap to the point of foolishness, maybe I used a poor choice or words. If you did not intend it that way either I am getting PMS kicking in too early this month, I apologize!
Wow Leslie--I had no idea tire had actual expiration dates--that is frightening. Where can you find the expiration date??
*Politely* asked DH to get me some ice cream, I need some cold therapy!

Carrie - I took you as being serious. I do careless stuff all of the time then wonder why I did it.
