off to the dr.'s for a follow up, wondering what my beta's will be. Hoping he can help me figure out some of the residual issues from this- GI upset, cold all the time (I mean i am sitting in my house with my winter coat on, under a blanket and still cold) and low blood glucose feeling. Will let you all now how it goes.
Hope everyone has a good day today, so quiet here lately, miss you Jen- hope everything is ok

I will be having a HSG sometime in the next 2 months, not looking forward to that, but ah well. He thinks my hormones are nuts which is causing my odd symptoms, pretty much you get post partum without the baby- sucks!

BTDT, Kirsten. Hang in there! Glad you numbers are dropping nicely. With my last loss, I ended up just take hpts for a few weeks and then had draws because I wanted to avoid being a pincushion as you call it.

Kirsten - Glad your numbers have gone way down. Sorry you are having so many hormonal issues. Does he think they will subside once you are down to 0? When do you go back to see him?
Still having the kidney pain today so I'm pretty sure it is probably a stone. Hopefully it is small enough to pass on my own and I won't have to have it broken up this time. I swear if it's not one thing with me it's another. Also very excited for my dd, but sad for me. Tomorrow is her senior prom. Can't wait to see her all dressed up. She opted to not have a date this year and just go as a group with several of her friends. The girls are all meeting at our friend's house to have their hair done in the morning, then we are all having a mother/daughter lunch. I just hate seeing her all grown up.

Cindy- boo on kidney stone. I dread my kids big things like proms, just makes you realize they are growing up. Your day with her sounds great though. I can also sympathize with feeling like it is one thing after another, don't you wish you could put life on hiatus and just be for awhile? I see the Dr in 2 wks, and he thinks they SHOULD go away in time, but if not I will have to see my PCP. I do see the endo next Friday so will see what she has to say. Now I just want to DTD but still can't. Had a hormonal break down tonight where all I could do was cry and everything bugged me, but DH was so nice to just sit there and rub my back and let me vent. Tomorrow night we have dinner and games with friends, first time since all this. Then Sunday will go to church and maybe small group, if I am up to it

Cindy - Boo on the possibility of stones. I hope you feel better soon. Have fun with your daughter. I think I'll probably boo hoo when mine gets that old. I did at every dance recital so I'm sure I will come prom time.
Shel - I envy you and your trip. Be safe and have fun! I hope your numbers continue to rise and you see that precious little hb when you return.
Kirsten - That's a good drop! Hopefully you'll be at 0 the next time.
I can't believe that A&F is selling push-up bikini tops for little girls (8 y/o). Really?! My daughter loves that place and I do too for the comfort factor. However, that's pushing it for me. Ugh, I dread when she's proud of her boobies. She's almost so I hope I have a while.
AFM - Well, I will try to keep this short. The update on my job is that I will be unemployed as of April 8. I have used up my weeks and am no longer protected. Since I'm still unable to return, they told me I will be terminated on the 8th or I can resign. I'm doing better about it now, but I did have a bad day with a lot of crying. Since 2008, our company has downsized quite a bit with a lot of changes in management including the most recent being the HR manager which called me her first day on the job. I was very offended in the way she talked to me because I have been there almost 10 years and felt she should've been more sympathetic. I hope for her job's sake she changes her attitude because that won't last long before she's reported. I've seen it too many times. I guess the plus side to this now is I won't have to stress about the inevitable anymore because that day is here now. I will continue to pray over our finances and trust we will be taken care of. I do plan to work again one day and DH is really trying hard to supplement his income now so hopefully that will pan out. In the meantime, I'm just hoping to begin having more "better days" so I can actually enjoy my last trimester. It's crazy to think that in about a month I will be in the home stretch.
I hope everyone is doing well and look forward to seeing some more positive news going on in everyone's lives very soon!

Misty- I agree on the bikinis and all. ODD is starting to need a bra (has for a yr now) and I am not ready to do the padded ones or ones with wires, I want the ones that are more like half undershirts, but they are hard to find. Also decent swimwear is so hard, it is all too skimpy and ODD is very self conscious about how much skin she shows (and she is a swimmer lol). When my kids were little the only time they could wear a 2 piece was when they were in diapers/potty training (since it was so much easier) but then it went to 1 pieces around 3. Now in their pre-teens they are uncomforable showing skin, LOVE it AFm~ Just realized yesterday was the first day not needing anit-nausea *does the happy dance* but DH and I realized a problem. We are supposed to use protection for 2 months but it just does not work for DH and ends up with both of us irritable and frustrated. No clue what we will do but abstinence is not an option

Kirsten--what about sport bras (we call them sport tanks because my DD can't handle the word bra--she will be 10 at the end of May). Wal-mart has 3 paks for less than $10. There are different style too. She likes them because they flatten her down rather than emphasizing what is there! She reminds me of my serious consideration to wrap myself in duct tape when I was that age--just could not figure out how to get it around my back! Early puberty stinks!

Carrie- I have something like that now, but she is starting to need a little more support :/ Even with it on you can definitely tell she is starting. In 6th grade she has more than I had in 8th grade!! I expect her to get AF within the next 6 months probably (dr guess) and that will be about 2 yrs before I got it.
I never wanted to wrap myself in duct tape, I wanted padded bras. EVERYONE in school had more than me. One of my most traumatic memories in school was in 8th grade. I was leaning against a wall after school and one of the guys in my class came up to me and patted the wall next to me, saying "Kirsten, Kirsten is that you?" Now it is kinda funny, but I can tel you then it was not.

Misty - Sorry to hear about the way that your employer has handled your situation. That just stinks!
Padded bras were never needed by my dd and sports bras are out too. Poor thing wears a ddd bra. She takes after her paternal grandma in that department. We had a wardrobe malfunction with her prom dress. The clasp at the top of the zipper evidently fell off of her dress last night at her final fitting so when she put it on earlier the dress wouldn't stay zipped. She had to literally be sewn into her dress by a DOCTOR lol. Her friend's dad happens to be an ER doc and used a suturing kit to sew her in. We all got a good laugh about it and took pictures of her "surgery". It will definitely be something she remembers.

Ugh, I feel for your girls! Cindy a ddd! There was a girl a year older than me who got a reduction for her 18th bday because she was in the E range and she had documented back problems developing from the weight of her chest--lucky for her, insurance paid! I was a small C or big B in 6th grade, I hated life that year. One of the happiest days in high school was when I had lost so much body fat due to sports that I could wear a B perfectly. Oh how I wish that was still the case! I told DH if I ever get a mommy makeover these C/D's would be history. I still find sports bras the most comfortable, but have to get the ones that define where each breast goes otherwise it is one massive case of UNIBOOBER! I have one, Danskin?? that is like no movement what so ever. First time I wore it I was like jumping up and down shouting to DH to come and check out the serious lack of movement--love that bra.

Hello all!! I have not been on here and chatted since weve been out of town for the surgery. Just wanted to give everyone an update of what went on. We saw Dr. Roeder on Thursday DH is doing well...he was a trooper throughout the whole surgery even tho it took longer than usual {due to some scarring from the V}. It was about 3 hours from 1st cut-end. We saw whole, live, swimming sperm. I got to go to the microscope and see both the left and right side with swimmers I was very excited and anxious throughout the whole thing...we are home now and relaxing. He is a little swollen and has been taking tylenol pretty much every 4 hours since the surgery. We dont plan on actively trying until July since I am a teacher and we need to plan this around having the baby in the summer while I am out of school. I am so very excited and wanted to share our news
