Hey gals,
Question...I don't chart using temp or CM and never have. This month I decided to use OPK test strips. So far I have had negatives on CD's 9,11, 12 and 14. The only ever time I've ever used a OPK was prior to the VR when my OBGYN suggested I monitor for a month to make sure there were no fertility issues on my end. I literally used 3 test's on CD11, 12 and 13 and got 3 bright positives. Up until last month I had NEVER pee'd on a stick of any kind and gotten a -. So maybe this is why last month i was 2 days late, I now have no idea when I O!
On a 28 day cycle, what days are your O days? Just curious to see how much they vary. How drastically do they move around within your cycles?

Christie it could vary for each woman and month to month. on a 28 day cycle, you could ) anywhere from CD 12 (16 day luteal) to CD 18 (10 day luteal). I know that with charting I found my O date could change by up to 5 days, which would make my cycle longer or shorter than the last months.
Sorry I don't have better advice

Christie--when I used them in my preVR pregnancies I have found that I can O anywhere from day 10 to day 15 or 16 (but if that happens my cycle is longer by a day or two!).

On average for a 28 day cycle, you would O on CD 14-16. You would then expect your OPK to be + the day before you O, so CD13-15. Every woman is so different though. So keep testing, you should get your soon.
