We used him and loved him. DH did say he was like a robot but also said he wasn't there to be his friend. We were confident in our decision with him and felt God led us to him. We truly enjoyed reading his testimony and don't regret choosing him. Of course, we're one of the lucky ones that achieved pregnancy. I don't believe he will continue with the surgery if he doesn't see semen. For anyone considering him, that is a good question to ask that we didn't think about asking.

We used Dr. W and I was confident in his abilities as a surgeon. However knowing what I know now, i would choose to use someone else like Dr. Roeder or Dr. Daniel because of the prospect of needing a VE. We had heads on one side and clear fluid on the other. He gave us a 75% chance of patency. I think if we had done the VE, we would have had a successful surgery.
**oops had a bad typo, lol

Sorry you had a bad experience. Dh and I have no intention of having the VE, so it is a none issue for us. The VV will either work or it won't, what is meant to be will is our attitude--will that prevent me from being a complete psycho while trying, more than likely not.
Is there no option for a redo? Just curious, if there were other issues--since we are using him.

Carrie, we could do a re-co, but it would have to be a VE. DH scarred over very quickly, he had zero at 2.5 months post-VR.
I'm curious though, why not a VE fior you guys? It's not that much different of a surgery, and some Dr's don't even charge more for it.

DH wants it put back the way it was only and feels that if God wants us to have more children then the VV will work. It is his body and I like the idea of undoing what we did and giving our future childbearing back over to God. We have 3 children already, so I actually feel selfish for wanting more. We got the V because of my parents pressuring us and my doctor twitting out about my blood pressure that they did not even attempt to medicate until I was 37 1/2 weeks and then induced me 2 days later. It was all around stupid. My bp was only in the borderline range, which I was too trusting and never sought a 2nd opinion. Never developed any of the other signs of pre-eclampsia. I also have bad white-coat syndrome, so my numbers are always way higher in the office but when my mom would take them at home (she is an RN) they were always way lower. Antway enough of that!!
I really hope it works for you guys though!!

holy moly-just read your edited post--that is too funny--I hate typos that actually end up making a real word and make sense but are completely inaccurate!
That totally freaked me out!!

Dr David Wilson is a miracle worker. Sure he is a little odd, eccentric even, but you are not marrying him! He is very skilled at what he does and from what I have seen (months of research and real life experience) his statistics are outstanding. My dh had his vasectomy reversal around Christmas, and now less than 6 months later, we are pregnant!!! Thanks to Dr Wilson, we have this amazing new person growing to be part of our family.
