Hi everyone, DH & I have been married for 17 1/2yrs. We have 3 girls together age 16, 14 & 9, They were all born really early 27weeks 1lb 13oz, 27weeks 1lb 5oz & 26weeks 1lb 6oz. They are all good now though my middle child has a colostomy. We have had a lot of tough times on the neonatal units but all were very worth it. The year before my youngest was born we had a son whom was stillborn at 24weeks, my husband then went off to Iraq 8 weeks later as he was in the army. After the youngest was born we decided, well DH decided to have a vasectomy. I wasn't too keen on the idea but went along with it as I'd just been promoted & wasn't planning on any more children. I damaged the nerves in my spine 3 1/2yrs ago & lost the use of my legs, I couldn't feel from the waist down or walk. it's taken me 3yrs to recover but I'm getting there now, I was able to ditch my crutches a couple of weeks ago WHOOP WHOOP!! About a year n 1/2 ago I mentioned to DH that I'd like a baby 1/2 joking to see his reaction. At 1st he was like no way but soon after he was like ok lets look in2 vasectomy reversal. he approached the army medical offer who told him he'd have to go private as the NHS won't fund it. We did & Jan 2013 he had his reversal. His semen analysis was very good better than most men whom haven't even had a vasectomy. We have never had issues with conceiving before in fact my DH Came home from Iraq in July & within 4 weeks I was pregnant. So I was very hopeful that all would go well & thought I'd have given birth within 7-8 months with my track record. However, nothing yet I emailed DH surgeon as I was getting concerned. He said wait till we get to 18 months post opp, go to see our GP & get investigations under way. So here we are waiting not so patiently!
