Here is my version of Death By Chocolate
1 family size pkg of Brownies 1 lg tub of CoolWhip (unfrozen) 2 lg boxes of Jell-o instant chocolate or chocolate fudge pudding mix 8 Heath or Skor candy bars/Toffee 3 ( or more) shots of coffee liqueur (sp)
Bake the brownies as directed. Mix pudding and let it set up in the fridge. Put all candy in a bag and break it up... i usually use a rolling pin to crush it.
When the brownies come out of the oven, let them cool about 10 minutes and then take a straw or something round to poke holes in the brownies and pour liqueur over the top. Give it about 15 -20 min more to cool down.
In a large trifle or other glass serving bowl, place half of the crumbled brownies. Spread half of the pudding over that. Top with half of the whipped topping, sprinkled with half the crumbled candy bars. Repeat layers in the same order. Refrigerate until serving.
I usually do this in three layers. Its pretty and so delicious!! its better after its been in the fridge for a few hours so that the toffee can melt in.

Oreo Chocolate Truffles
These are SOOOO easy and SOOOOOO good!
1 Bag Of Oreos 8 oz Cream Cheese (I use the tub kind because I think it is softer to mix) 2 microwaveable Bakers Semi Sweet Chocolate Squares
Roughly crush the oreo's ( I stuck them in a large bag and pounded them with a meat tenderizers LOL)
Mix in 8 oz of cream cheese until a smooth mixture
Form 1 inch balls out of the cream cheese cookie mixture and set on plate
Start melting your chocolate one tub at a time and when melted hold the ball between 2 forks, dip into the chocolate~Gotta be fast!
Set on wax paper and while the balls are still warm cover with any sprinkles of your choice....makes for nice presentation...I also use a strainer and sprinkle powered sugar over them too instead of the sprinkles!
Chill and serve!!!! These are TDF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is not a recipe...but the cake on the back of Hershey's cocoa is the BEST chocolate cake on the planet. It's so good it doesn't even need frosting. I just dust with powdered sugar and it's amazing!
