Christie, I know just what you mean. I obviously knew how a baby was made, but I didn't fully understand anatomy. It wasn't until we actually started TTC after the VR that I really studied and learned what goes on with both mine and DH's body. It's amazing to me now that we were able to get pg so easily with the older kids.

Leslie- ditto on that. I never had to actually try for the kids and never knew anything about timing with O and all LOL. Now it seems to be a impossibility

Carrie, My FIL drove my husband to OK for his VR. They got there stayed the night, got up, DH had his VR then drove 4 hours home. He was so looped on drugs that the ride home was easy. As soon as he got home he laid in bed for two days only got up to go to the bathroom. By the third day he was walking around just a little. I brought his meals to him and everything. He was back at work by day 5. We had ours over Christmas break, so he had some time off, and went back to work when he was supposed to. He was feeling fine by day 4. The worst part was taking the drain out. He didnt feel anything, it was just not too great to look at. I am SO excited for you! Keep stalking the schedule!
Christy, I didnt find much out at all about raspberry leaf tea except I BOUGHT THE WRONG KIND. I am just going to skip it for now I guess.
Shell, Im pulling for you!
As for me, I thought I was supposed to O today or tomorrow but I think I already did! Ugh! I took an OPK two days ago and had two lines but one line was really faint. We DTD that day. Oh well we will see. There is always next month I guess. We have been doing it EOD so we may or may not have hit the right day. It's ok. Im TRYING (such a big word) not to think about it too much.

OH and this baby making is all new to me too! Even though we have two little ones, I had no idea there was so much to think about.

Mandy--thanks for the info! I remember being informed about the drain--yikes still not wanting to see that in person.
How long did he stay loopy? Think it would last 8 hours?? DH would love to come straight home so he can rest at home in his own bed!
I am beyond obsessive and I considered making a baby my "job," I could have given a seminar after the 2nd one--however I never learned how to do the temping stuff but definitely used the OPK.

I just asked DH, he said he didnt feel 'loopy' he just didnt feel much. (But when I talked to him on the phone right after he got out of surgery he WAS loopy. I dont think he remembers). He said he felt (whatever it was) for 6 to 8 hours. Goodness he was loopy! He doesnt even remember how he felt. Haha!
I dont temp either. I dont think I could keep up with it very well. I do OPKs though.

AHHHHH!!! Just was able to schedule for the 23rd of May! Not perfect timing, but not bad either!
I will have to take one day as a personal day and the other as a comp day (they owe me!).
Now I am getting sappy and emotional--but May 22nd is our first date anniversary and May 23rd is the day I had an epiphany like moment--"I was right--he is the one!" I am so silly! Still mad we did not get married on May 22nd, our wedding anniversary is July 17th just doesn't have the same feeling for me! I still give him a hard time about that--he was afraid we would not have a suitable apartment by then (he was graduating that month).
Anyone else the same way?

Kristen – uhg! I HATE that over-ate feeling! Doesn’t stop me from doing it, though! LOL Cindy – I make my DH watch with me sometimes, too. He doesn’t mind it, but it’s definitely not his favorite. He likes 16 and pregnant MUCH better. It’s so much easier to make fun of! Carrie – Congrats!!! I know the feeling…I was a nutcase before we scheduled, after we scheduled/before the VR, and, come to think of it…ever since. Hopefully you’ll be better than me, lol! Shel – It’s nice to hear you so upbeat! Reminds me that I should be the same! Best of luck to you this cycle! Christie – Red Raspberry Tea…let’s see, it’s good for toning your uterus? Helps with implantation…helps prevent miscarriage…it’s supposed to do something for mens fertility, too, but I can’t remember what. I bought some, drank some and then kind of abandoned it. I don’t love it. It’s not bad, I just like my regular green tea better. DH likes it, though, and has drank more of it than I have! BTW - I do know you were talking to the other Mandy - I just recently looked into and bought some of the tea, soon, so I thought I'd reply AFM – I started with OPKs today. It was negative, of course – it’s only CD09. I’m very excited to report that my cervical mucus is still decidedly hostile. I tested it again today. I can't wait to try to trying to fix it!!! DH is home tonight, hooray! Looking forward to getting my BD on

Hi ladies Mandy M - GL with gitting rid of that hostile cm. I actually tested me and DH for a while and we went through a whole cleansing process. Of course part of that was to help my IBS symptoms. I hope it does just the trick to get you that little sticky bean! Shel - Can't wait to hear how your scan went. I'm glad to see you so cheerful and loving your EWCM. lol Carrie - May seems like a long time, but it will be here soon. We scheduled 3 months in advance with him and I just tried not to count down. Then, it was here. Just wait, you think OCD is bad for you now, you'll see. AFM - I took my Phenergan pill earlier tonight after receiving an extra dose of Reglan through my pump and it knocked me out. We were leading small group and I started not feeling well so I told DH I was going to lie down. Well, I left the group and went and passed out hard and woke up confused about where I was, lol. I haven't done that in a while. Now, I'm sitting here wide awake even though I have to get up in a few hours to go see my stupid doctor that I don't love so much. Catch up with you all later today.

So BBC girl, Warrentribe announced a BFP! And I'm super happy bc she's a Hickman girl! Good to see them popping up. Such a nice Dr, he needs our help in having some BFP's to support him!
It's 80 degree's here today. So glad today is Thursday.

Hi ladies this month is proving to be a great one on BBC. 6 BFP's in like 10 days. Amazing, I am hoping some of it will rub over onto this board. AF should be here for me on Monday then O on 3/11 so I dont have anything exciting until next month. I am sure hoping to see a BFP this month, good luck to all of you.

Carrie...Yea for scheduling. It will be here before you know it. I need to lose more than that...winter has been rough on me GL! Leslie...It is freezing cold here today, just like they predicted. I am originally from Portland, OR, so are you in an area that has all the rain I am used to? My family said they are actually having some snow there...has been a strange winter. Shel...I have never taken EPO...amazingly enough, I overdose my dh, but don't take a lot myself. Thanks for the running comment...sitting here instead of working out...Will do it soon. GL with your follie scan. I too have been lucky in the past...don't remember any side effects with clomid. Christie...Spring is my favorite too...just not sure if it is ever coming We have a pretty good sized lot and I actually enjoy mowing...so looking forward to that. Put my ipod on and go....used my gps and it is about 4 miles by the time I am done. Gets my walk in. I do have to admit though...shoveling snow is a good workout too, just really tired of it Not much new here....enjoying my day off by doing absolutely nothing. Got my hair done and now am gearing up to working out...we'll see how that works. Hello to EOE!

Mandym- Have fun! Can't wait until Sunday when my dh gets home. Tired of tossing in turning in this empty king size bed. I need my snuggle buddy back.
Misty- Sorry you are still so sick. I wish they could do something to make you feel better so you can function.
Carrie - Congrats on scheduling. May will be here before you know it.
Shel - Can't wait to hear the results of your follie scan.
AFM- Today is cd3 for me. I had one of those FSH tests that I got to try for free so I finally used it today. While I was watching those 2 pink lines, I had the worst thought cross my mind. I thought that it would probably be the only time I got to pee on a test and see that.

Nancy, we're in the Tacoma WA area, so we definitely see a wee bit of rain now and then. We actually have snow on the ground, and it's so pretty! Add Mt Rainer in the background, and I'm thinking that we just happen to live in the most beautiful part of the world. I hope you're enjoying your day off! A day full of doing nothing is sometimes the best way to spend a day. We did that yesterday when I declared it a snow day and we took the day off school. Cindy, I'm sorry you're thinking/feeling that way. I have to admit that when I take my OPKs, I often think the same thing; that it's the only time I'm ever going to see 2 lines. It's such a defeating feeling, isn't it? I hope you get your BFP very soon, and get to see those 2 lines on something exciting.
