Misty- Glad to know that the previa is not complete and should correct itself. Where are you going for the dr now (and so glad you get away from the stupid idiots). I am still really sore and in pain but emotionally getting a little better. I was able to talk about the past week with my cousin without crying and even TRIED to watch a baby movie AND on the baby movie, I had paused it and with 30 mins left in it (pre-recorded) the stupid DVR switched to another channel and lost the rest of the movie. I WANT TO SEE THE END OF IT!!!
ETA: Oh and my unable to sleep mind came up with this question, are humans the only species able to get ectopics and if so why do we have to get them and none others? (and yes I am starting to feel better about things. When I get odd questions and thoughts you know things are looking up)

Kirsten - I hate when the DVR does that. Glad that you are starting to feel better about things. I've been keeping you in prayer.
Misty - Great news about the placenta previa. I will keep praying that it corrects itself. Yay for a new doctor. Hopefully the new office staff and docs will be MUCH better and more understanding.
Shel - I'm still so happy for you! I am finding out first hand how expensive meds can be. We switched our insurance to an HSA this year because it is going to be much cheaper in the long run, but we have to meet a $3000 deductible up front. I about fainted a few weeks ago when I went to get my dd's migraine medicine and it was close to $400. Under our PPO I only had to pay $30 a month for it. Once we meet that deductible we will go back to the $30. I told her she needed to use it sparingly because it is made of gold!
Jen - Glad that dh hasn't touched another cigarette. Praying that he stays strong and never touches another one!
Christie - I miss the hustle and bustle of the weekends with kids sports. We were always running from one place to another with only 2 kids. My ds was very active in soccer, but also played baseball, football, and even did wrestling for a year in high school. Sometimes we would leave one sport and have to hurry to get to another one. My dd played softball and field hockey. She was upset when we moved to SC because they don't have field hockey here. We thought that was very odd.
Nancy - Praying for a drastic improvement in numbers for the SA next month.
Hi to EOE! Just got home from taking my nanny to the doctor for a post op appointment. He was concerned about all of the swelling that she has and sent us straight to the hospital for an ultrasound. He was worried about a blood clot. Thankfully there wasn't one. Now I have laundry and a ton of housework to get done. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Cindy- yes I am doing much better and appreciate everyone's prayers. I still get a little criey, but am able to go out, talk about it and am even considering working on the baby's quilt in belief of God's promise for more children. Back is still hurting a lot, but the abdominal cramping is better, or at least until I type that I think I passed the Psuedo sac today, which is a relief cause it means the end is coming, I pray. I am a little worried about the swimmers, it is 2.5 wks since they had release and we are not supposed to DTD until my HCG is O (like I can wait that long, it will more likely be when I am feeling up to it). I am not really feeling up to helping DH (just not up to that kinda fun) and he won't help himself

Sorry I've been MIA ladies, it's been busy busy here!
Kirsten - I'm so sorry for the m/c. I will keep you in my thoughts. I know you will be blessed with your Rainbow baby soon.
Jen - Oh my! I can't believe your DH! I hope this is the GIANT wake-up call he needed to quit!
Cindy - Glad your nanny is doing well.
Shell - You are in my thoughts too! Praying that your little bean sticks in there and gets all comfy cozy for the next months.
AFM - Just busy. With work, home, working out, etc. I'm so glad for more day light! I forget how much I love gardening until this time of year rolls around again. Waiting patiently for my surgery to happen so we can keep moving on. I finally called the county SS's office and found out there is an informational meeting for people that want to be foster parents next Tuesday. DH can't go because OSD has an appointment, but I think I'm going to go by myself and see how I feel about it.

Diana, that's awesome that you found out about the meeting for next Tuesday. Are you and your DH planning on attending? We have just under 4 weeks until our orientation with the agency we're going to use. I'm so excited, and hope that we can get all the paperwork/appointments/home-studies done quickly. We're more than ready to bring our child(ren) home!

Diana - Yay for getting up the nerve to call them back. Now you just need to make sure you attend the meeting, even if it has to be alone.
Leslie - Praying that everything moves quickly and smoothly for y'all with the adoption process.

Diana, sorry, I was really tired last night when posting, and I just realized that I asked about things you had already answered. I'm sorry that your DH won't be able to go with you, but hopefully you'll be able to go and get filled with information to bring back to him.

Lol Leslie, I've posted tired a time or two. Yes, I will be going by myself to the info meeting. We have a lot of things to do before the home study can be done, so we can work on them while we attend the 10 weeks of classes.
I have my fingers crossed for you all! I hope you get a sweet little one in your home soon!
Cindy - Thanks!

Diana and Leslie- hope all goes well with the plans to foster/adopt.
Not much going on here. Tonight we watched Fly Wheel, great movie, though some poor acting. It was the production companies first (they did FireProof, Facing the Giants, and have Courageous coming out soon). It is a great movie about trusting and believing in God, the miracles that this family sees are just amazing. I think I just might have to save up and buy these movies, they are just so inspirational.

Hi Ladies,
I hope you all are doing well. Sorry no time for personals. I just got back from a day of skiing/snowboarding with the kids. It was our last trip of the season and I am SO tired. I hope you all are doing well.

Christie...It is just crazy how much IVF costs.....Kidney sale might barely cover it lol! Enjoy that 10 week old....hold her close to your ovaries to get them stimulated Misty....Glad you found a new dr....hopefully you are more comfortable with them. Glad the previa will probably correct itself. Especially with being just a partial, I am sure it will be fine. GL on Friday. I am hoping the meds work too....not sure if it will or not, but trying to keep the faith. Shel (again)...I hear that one kidney is more than enough function to keep us alive, so WTH I am so stressed about the SA, but know it isn't in our hands. Hard for me to stay faithful sometimes....my dh reminids me of unanswered prayers, but he has more faith than I do....hard to stay positive all the time, but I am sure all you know what I mean. My insurance doesn't cover crap, but thinking I might need to schedule that appt with the RE about IVF. Thinking if I book it, I can cancel it when I don't need it

Nancy, thank you so much for your prayers. It means a lot to me. I understand struggling with faith, especially during difficult times, but without it we have nothing and everything is meaningless. It's tough to wait on the Lord, but it's also a good time to get closer to Him through prayer. When is the SA again? Lol about scheduling IVF just so you can cancel it. I've heard that about people who get a BFP once they begin the adoption process. Diana and Leslie - Maybe you will get those coveted BFPs now that you've moved onto adoption. I've read about that happening I think you are both remarkable for making such a selfless decision and the Lord will bless you. Tiff - What's going on with you lately? Cindy - thanks for all your encouragement. I really do appreciate it I'm glad your nanny doesn't have a blood clot. How is she feeling? How are you doing as caregiver? My good friend takes care of her 99 yr-old grandma and it is a lot of work. She wouldn't have it any other way though and is thankful for the time they have together. God bless you. Kirsten, how are you feeling sweetie? Still praying for you. Hi to Jennifer, CWD, Mandy, Mandy, Christie, Jenn, Carrie, and everyone else. I just got back from a really rough 3 mile run. It was one of those "I can't wait until this over" type of runs which are rare for me. I think it is because I had to run so late in the day. We had co-op all day so I didn't have much choice. I'm counting down the days to our vacation - less than two weeks! I picked up our Euros today. I can't wait!

Shel- glad to see that you more than doubled. Let's pray it keeps that way. Have they said when they want a u/s? I can't believe your runs, wish I could do my pilates (not that I ever do them very well or consistently) Hi to everyone else, it is quiet here lately. AFM~ well my hcg levels are dropping nicely, but the ectopic is a little larger (not sure if it is bleeding or growth) and I am still at considerable risk for rupture. I had a u/s today and this evening am in the most pain I have been in since Monday night (actually was pain free Tuesday and Wednesday). The dr was considering another dose of Methotrexate, but I have reacted so much to lack of folic acid, he does not want to risk it. But until I am 0 HCG I am allowed nothing that will at all rattle my insides- exercise, lifting, bumping things, DTD He did say that once I am at 0, he will put me on 4g of folic acid to replenish as fast as possible. Also next time I am pregnant he will schedule an ultrasound as early as I want and as often as we need to know everything is ok. I was talking to my mom and she asked me point blank if we went to Texas for a reversal and I told her yes, so that is at least out. She is not thrilled, but ok with it. She just wishes I had told her instead of evading.

Kirsten - running keeps me sane. They want to do the u/s on March 28, which is the day before I leave for Italy. I will be 6 weeks then. I have told them I'd rather wait until after I return and was told that we'll wait until it gets closer and see where my numbers are. From this recent beta, hcg is doubling every 25.5 hours so that is good. My progesterone is TRIPLE what is was with my last pg so that is VERY encouraging. I'm just really not worried in the slightest. It's all in God's hands and I am comfortable with that. I just don't see the point of having an u/s at 6 weeks since there isn't much to see. I never saw a heartbeat with my other 3 losses so I am looking forward to doing so with this LO. We'll see. I'm sorry you are in pain again. Is there some other drug they can give you to dissolve the ectopic? I wonder why it is not working. Do they know where it implanted (on the tube or on the ovary)? Glad your mom was ok with the VR. My mother has no idea, but that is because we don't speak and she lives across the country.
I agree that it is quiet around here.
