Hi Ladies, Tomorrow is cd14, my normal O date, but I did not get a +OPK today. So, either I O'd early or I will O late. I wonder if the raspberry leaf tea has something to do with this. Any thoughts?

Haha Cynnywd!
Tiff, I may or may not be peeing with you tomorrow. GL!
Question to everyone, Is anyone else just doing the VR and have no plans on IUI or IVF? My husband and I agreed that the VR is as far as we go. As much as we want another baby we just cant do IUI or IVF. Here's to hoping the VR works for us.... and all of us!

Mandy- we will probably just do the VR, maybe add clomid in if it is a me issue. IF we could afford the others, we would do it, but IVF is impossible for me since I cannot take BC at all

Mandy, at this point, we are not considering IVF. It just isn't something we have peace about so it's not on the table. We did talk about possibly freezing DH's sperm and doing IUI, but that is because he is usually out of town every week. It is a blessing that he is home this week (except for a day trip to NC today), but that is unusual. Our insurance covers it at 80%, but I'm hoping we don't need to go that route. Our RE wants me to try clomid next cycle, but I've read conflicting opinions for the reasoning behind prescribing it in my case. So, I probably won't do that either. Yes, I am that patient that doesn't always listen to her dr., but that is because I'm not a fan of medicine and all the wacky side effects. I'd rather do things naturally.
Tiff - did you POAS???

shell, that is awesome your insurance covers 80% of IUI! I dont know if ours covers anything. I understand about medicine and doctors. I do the same thing. I had spine surgery during the summer. (I slept wrong and woke up with a krick in my neck that got worse over a few days. It got so bad the pain went down my right arm and I couldnt move or do anything but lay in bed. It turns out a nerve was basically being squished in my spine behind my neck. nice huh?) I had surgery and I was fine until I started taking all of the pills they gave me. I got really sick. It was bad! I took myself off all of the pills and got better. So I TOTALLY understand what youre saying Shel! Sometimes we know what is best for our bodies!

GGGGRRR Why is it that men always procrastinate and then get irritable when they cannot finish what they should have done yesterday and get irritable when you need help when they are trying to finish said thing?

Mandy - spine surgery does not sound fun at all. I had back surgery several years ago and didn't take any of the pain meds because those types of meds have a serious effect on me. I just took 600mg of ibuprofin. So, are you POASing on Friday or do you think you will try tomorrow? How many dpo are you? I hope you and Tiff both get a BFP. I'm so excited for you two!
Kirsten - I understand what you are saying. I keep asking myself why I haven't changed my expectations after knowing this about my DH all these years, lol! It is frustrating, though.

Mandy, we do plan on giving IUI a try if we don't get pg soon. IVF is not something we feel we could/would do, but IUI isn't out of our comfort zone at all.

Hey gals!
Mandy, we are not thinking we will not expore any other option other than just the vr right now. But that's easy for me to say being that we are 7 days post. Things may change the more we get into it! Who knows. I know our ins covers a large portion of fertility treatments as well.
Tiff and Mandy- Can't wait till tomorrow's post!
Shell- Your husband being out of town more my be a perfect situation! When he is in town, does he have time to get into "trouble" with you? :-)
Cyn- Any luck on Dr. selection? I think all your contenders sound good. Hard call.
Jenn- How's your weather?
It's colder than expected today. We are in the 30's. I'm so ready for spring!
Any Catholic ladies that have had experience with the enullment process? I have some general questions.

I would have to look into our insurance to see if they cover anything. But I dont know if we would actually do it. No reason really, we just kind of agreed on just the VR.... and hoping it works of course.
Kirsten, youre funny about your DH. I think we all feel that way sometimes.
I am about 8 or 9 dpo right now. My dr's office hasnt called with any information yet. I have no idea if they are open. We have gotten ice/snow the past two days. It is -5 outside right now. The streets are a mess. Oh fun!
