Yay for cloth diapering! lol I'm going to use cloth with our next baby(ies). I love to sew them, and already have a very large stash ready to use. I also plan on BFing, and holding off on solids as long as possible. When my kids were younger I always introduced early, because I thought that was better. It's amazing how many things I did with my current children, thinking they were best, that I now smack my forehead about. I also have a ton of stuff picked out for the next baby too. Can't wait to get that BFP, and find out if it's a boy or girl. Then the marathon shopping can begin!

Leslie, I know the shopping is SO FUN!! And this time we would have to buy all new stuff, we got rid of everything, but I think it will be fun starting over shopping for all new stuff!

That's awesome that you sew your own diapers, Leslie. I don't sew Do you make them with snaps?

Shel--totally have the the room completely designed and everything picked out too--DH think I am a bit obsessive! I also would like to try cloth diapers. Does anyone else find it strange that we all are having similar ideas and stuff? I find it extremely interesting that not only do we want more babies after thinking we were done and to also want to do things different or better this time. I know I thought I did everything just fine and was mostly content with the way I mothered my babies before, but it almost like there is a nagging need to perfect it all. It is weird, in a good way of course!

Funny story, but my DH once wondered if I wanted another baby, or if I just wanted the shopping experience that comes with one. Silly boy, it's both of course! Shel, I do use snaps on mine. I'm a little timid of velcro, just because I can picture it scratching that soft and delicate baby skin. Here's a picture of the last ones I made (the one on the lower right is a dark pink, kinda look like a red with the low light picture though). I just love them, and can't wait to put a baby in them!

Those look amazing! Such a nice job, are they the whole diaper or the cover (sorry, I am completely ignorant to how cloth diapers work).
You could seriously sell these! or do you?

Thanks Carrie! These are the whole diaper, with an attached cover. I don't sell them, though my DH has tried many a times to convince me to start. I just like to make them for myself and as gifts. I think that if I started sewing as a job, I would loose my love for it, and I'm not willing to risk that. Sewing is my one "get away" from being a mom and wife, and give me my alone time.

I understand about the "making it a job" thing! I love to make beaded jewelry, but could never do it long enough to build up the inventory--then it would be not for my enjoyment just another thing I "have" to do!

Those are the cutest diapers ever! You should open a shop on etsy!
Those would be great for pictures too! Could you add ruffles to them for little girls?

Oh and I used cloth diapers for my youngest for awhile. He has VERY sensitive skin and cloth diapers were a dream for him!

Leslie - if you sold them and I got pg, I would totally buy them from you. I plan to use cloth diapers as well and make my own babyfood.

Thanks girls! Tiff, since I will NOT be selling them, how about when you get your BFP I'll send you some as a gift? I'd much rather gift them than deal with the selling arena.
